This is a beautiful, vintage cake plate made by the British pottery company, Wetley. The plate has a primarily white body, with an elaborate gilded rim in gold, with blue decorative elements and floral details. A floral posy decorates the centre of the plate. The underside of the plate bears the Wetley backstamp, confirming its authenticity and origin. This elegant plate would make a wonderful addition to a vintage collection or could be used to display cakes and other culinary creations. The condition is very good, with only minor signs of wear commensurate with age.
