Common Questions
Do I have to use the portal?
It's the fastest route — your submission goes straight to our buyers — but if you'd rather drop in, you're always welcome. We work in the same building you'll see at the top of our contact page.
What types of items do you buy?
Antique and vintage furniture, decorative items, collectibles, industrial pieces, salvage, and curiosities. If it's old and interesting, we want to see it.
Do you collect items?
Yes. For larger items or house clearances we can arrange collection — there's a "wants collection" option in the portal. For smaller pieces, you're welcome to bring them in.
How quickly will you respond?
We aim to respond within 1–2 working days. Submissions made through the portal land in front of our buyers the moment you send them.
How do you determine value?
Our experienced team assesses items based on condition, rarity, age, and current market demand. We always aim to offer fair prices, and we'll explain our thinking if you ask.
Can I counter your offer?
Absolutely. The portal has accept / decline / counter buttons on every offer. We'll either match it, come back with a final number, or pass — but the negotiation stays in one place.
