This is a decorative oval plate, likely dating back to the late 19th or early 20th century. The plate features a transfer-printed design in shades of blue, depicting a landscape with ruins, possibly of an abbey. The design is framed by an ornate border with cherubic figures and foliate motifs. The material appears to be ironstone ceramic.
