This is a pair of ceramic wall vase or pockets in a classic Art Deco style, featuring a fan shape with stepped detailing at the base. The front and reverse are covered in a rich dark red glaze, which shows extensive wear, flaking, and peeling. This distressing reveals previous green painted surfaces and the cream ceramic body beneath, giving them an authentic, rustic character.
