A large 1970s ceramic floor vase by Scheurich, made in West Germany and impressed 282-41 to the base. The tall cylindrical form is decorated with bands of moulded geometric and stylised floral motifs beneath a tactile cream and brown glaze.
At approximately 41 cm tall, this substantial piece has the scale to stand on the floor, a hearth or a large sideboard. Its earthy palette and strong relief pattern make it a distinctive example of West German mid-century pottery.
Condition: Good vintage display condition overall, with light age-related surface wear and a small glaze chip/loss near the lower edge, clearly shown in the photographs.
