This is a Pair of 19th C Italian giltwood pier mirrors. These are antique mirrors featuring a giltwood frame carved in an ornate Rococo style. The frame is embellished with scrolling acanthus leaves, shell motifs, and a central mask at the base. The gilt finish is worn and distressed, with hints of red bole visible beneath the gold. The mirror glass shows signs of age, with some spotting and imperfections. The intricate carvings and aged finish give the mirror a unique character.
