This Nigerian Ife terracotta head is intricately decorated with numerous small glass beads. The face has a divided design, with one half predominantly red and the other white, while yellow, blue and green beads pick out the facial features.
The upper section is finished in yellow beads and the base has a green-and-yellow pattern separated by a black band. The vibrant beadwork appears largely intact. Please refer to the photographs for condition.
