The exterior features an expressive drip-glaze finish, combining a heavily speckled beige or cream mid-section with deep, glossy brown glazed bands at both the rim and the base.
The underside of the vase features impressed markings reading 'W. GERMANY' alongside the form numbers '517' and '45'. The piece displays characteristic manufacturing features of West German pottery, including a robust ceramic construction. Visible wear includes a minor glaze line or hairline at the interior rim and a small chip along the unglazed base ring. Ideal for a shelf, mantelpiece or sideboard display.
