A vintage metal car radiator grille shell produced by Standard Coventry, featuring a detailed enamel Union Jack winged badge mounted at the top centre. The grille retains its curved outer metal casing and full vertical internal slat structure, along with the lower starting handle aperture.
The piece shows significant signs of age and exposure. The internal vertical slats have heavy rust, surface degradation, and metal loss, particularly towards the bottom edge. The outer metal casing shows scratches, pitting, oxidation, and aged patina throughout, while the rear exhibits dark corrosion and original mounting tabs.
