Vintage Oriental Wool Rug with Gnarled Tree Landscape Design – NB15

This exquisite vintage round wool rug features a captivating Oriental-inspired landscape design, measuring approximately 48cm in diameter. The central motif depicts a stylised, gnarled tree with green foliage, gracefully positioned beside tranquil waters, possibly representing a river or lake, with distant mountains in the background. A subtle hint of a setting or rising sun adds to the serene atmosphere. The rich brown-gold background provides a warm contrast to the deep blue border and accents. Crafted from wool with a textured pile on the front and a robust woven backing, this piece shows good overall condition, with minor wear consistent with its age. It would make a charming decorative accent for a living room, bedroom, or lounge area, whether displayed on the floor or as a unique wall hanging.
