Vintage 1960 Penti II Gold Tone 35mm Viewfinder Camera Made in GDR

This Penti II is a compact viewfinder camera featuring a distinctive gold-tone patterned front and rear finish with a black central band. The face is fitted with a Meyer-Optik Domiplan V 3.5 30 lens showing markings around the aperture and shutter speed ring. The top edge is marked with the model name PENTI II, while the underside features the engraved serial number 465048 and is marked MADE IN G.D.R.

Physically, the camera shows signs of previous use. There is a prominent patch of torn paper and white adhesive residue on the black base plate alongside a standard tripod socket. The gold-tone metal surfaces show minor superficial scuffs consistent with handling, and some light wear is visible on the dial rings. This piece is sold as seen and untested.
