This is a vintage Trench art miniature brass coal shuttle. It is made from two military shells 70mm and a 40mm It features a cylindrical body with a copper-toned handle on top and a spout at the front for pouring coal. A decorative Canadian crest is attached to the front of the shuttle, adding a touch of elegance to this utilitarian object. The brass exhibits a warm, aged patina, with some darker areas showing the effects of time and use. The base has a simple, raised design. The shuttle could be displayed as a decorative antique item.
