This is a taxidermy mount of a male Eurasian sparrowhawk (Accipiter nisus), also known as the northern sparrowhawk. from the Kenneth Murphy Private Collection, this bird is registered with a D.O.E number and a CITES registration. The bird is mounted on a naturalistic wooden base covered in moss and foliage. The bird is brown and white, with yellow legs and feet. The eyes are a vibrant orange colour. The mount is in good condition.
This taxidermied sparrowhawk would be an excellent addition to a collection of natural history items, a study, or a man cave.
