Rustic Wooden Steamer Trunk with Iron Bands

This rustic wooden steamer trunk is a classic storage piece constructed with robust horizontal wood slats and reinforced with iron bands and corner brackets. The exterior displays a heavily weathered brown finish, complete with tarnished metal clasps and aged leather side handles, reflecting its travels and long history of use.

Inside, the trunk features its original paper-lined interior, complete with a red paper border trim on the lid. The lining shows extensive signs of age, including peeling, cracking, and dark staining, giving the piece a highly authentic, untouched appearance. This trunk makes a superb statement piece for a bedroom or living room, offering a rustic aesthetic and generous storage space.
