This traditional steamer trunk features a textured brown finish reinforced with curved wooden binding strips and metal corner brackets. The exterior retains remnants of its travel history, including a faded paper luggage label and a hand-written paper string tag secured to the leather side handle.
The metal latches, corners, and bindings show a heavy, natural rust patina. The wooden bands have developed some splitting and wear over time, while the textured fabric surface exhibits scuffs, light white paint splatters, and general darkening. Perfect for use as a distinctive low side table, blanket box, or rustic display prop in a home or retail setting.
