This pair of metal fire dogs features prominent spherical finials above turned baluster uprights, set upon shaped cabriole-style front feet. Each fire dog is fitted with an extended black iron rear support bar designed to rest within a fireplace hearth.
The metal displays widespread surface tarnish, oxidation, pitting, and light rust spotting consistent with age and exposure to heat. Sold as seen.
