A mid century style wooden writing bureau with a drop-front writing surface supported by metal stays. The fitted interior includes upright compartments, an open central section and two small drawers with round wooden knobs.
Below the writing section is a wide drawer with recessed handles and a two-door cupboard. The cabinet stands on a plinth base and has visible brown wood grain throughout. Surface marks and variations in the finish can be seen in the photograph. Books shown are display props.
