Circa 1840 by renowned London makers. Howel and James were clockmakers to Queen Victoria. This bracket clock would be late Victorian or Early Edwardian. Beautiful wood inlayed marquetry and a nice neoclassical brass center clockface with further brass decorative work.
Working, ticking happily, chiming diligently; this is a high quality mechanism seated within a light-hardwood case with intricate fretwork to side panels, clean face, and complete workings including winder.
Dimensions: 25cm wide, 16cm deep, and 45cm tall.
