A lightweight high back side chair constructed from natural bamboo and cane. The design features a dramatic tall backrest with stylized bamboo loop scrollwork, leading down to a round woven cane seat with concentric ring detail.
The frame features wrapped cane binding at the structural joints and a sweeping curved stretcher base. Visible surface wear includes light scuffing to the natural varnish finish, minor splits in the bent bamboo near the base, and dark surface staining around the lower legs.
