A characterful antique wooden console chest with a richly weathered turquoise painted finish. Dark exposed timber contrasts with the remaining blue paint, while metal straps and round and star-shaped fittings form a decorative pattern across the front.
The broad panelled lid and central metal fastening give this piece a striking presence as a decorative storage chest.
Condition: Extensive visible paint loss, scratches, surface wear and aged metal patina, as shown in the photographs. These features form part of its individual character. Please review the original photograph in the gallery for the actual finish and condition. Dimensions and the operation of the lock have not been confirmed.
