Project: Design and build the bar front and back shelving.
Designed and fitted out by On The Square Emporium.
When Voodoo, one of Belfast’s well known bars expanded and opened another bar Santeria they wanted a unique interior! So they came to On The Square Emporium. We designed and built a stunning bar from live edge splated beech and reclaimed boards that it truely one of a kind.
The natural curves of the live edge bar give it an organic feel. The front face is made from reclaimed boards with many years of layered paint scrapped back to a mixture of raw wood and paint remanence this was then sprayed with a stain to blend it all together and take away the stark contrast but leave a nice compliment to the bar top.
The carcasses were custom built to encompass the fridges, sinks and cocktail station. The back shelving was made from industrial galvanized poles and the same live edge spalted beech as the bar top, thus carrying the organic feel through out the bar but contracting this with the metalwork whish was painted a mat black.
The resulting bar is a unique place to sit and enjoy a great range of whiskeys and cocktails.
