This heritage style lightshade is possibly one of the most popular shapes for industrial lighting since the early 1900s. The Dome maximised the output of the lamp by forcing all the light downwards. Developed during the 1930s to provide directional lighting for production lines. A good all-purpose style – hang the Dome high for general room lighting or low if you want directional light.
