Vintage Military Style Green Wool Beret

This is a wool beret, likely of military origin. The beret is a dark green colour, made from a thick wool material. Inside is a grey lining with black leather trim and a visible tag with various numbers and what looks like a name beginning with “Schmidt”. It is in good condition considering the age.
