This vintage Mazzini accordion, likely from the 1950s, presents a charming aesthetic with its cream mother-of-pearl effect plastic casing. Manufactured in Italy, it carries the distinct 'Mazzini Made in Italy' branding prominently displayed on its front. The instrument features a full set of white and black piano-style keys, each exhibiting minor yellowing consistent with age. Below the keyboard, an intricate silver-tone metal grille with a filigree design covers the bellows, which are black and ribbed, allowing for expansion and contraction. On the bass side, a series of circular buttons and control knobs are visible. Rich brown leather straps, adjustable with silver-tone metal buckles, are attached for carrying, showing considerable wear and some cracking, adding to its authentic vintage character. Overall condition is consistent with its age, showing general surface wear, some scuffs to the plastic casing, and the aforementioned wear on the leather straps. Despite the cosmetic imperfections, the accordion retains its visual appeal as a display piece for enthusiasts or collectors.
