The base of the casing is clearly stamped with alphanumeric codes including "M.12.MTW.70.", "V.B.M.13.", "K.20.M.68.", and "K.22.M.69.", indicating its historical context, likely from the late 1960s. The word "ONSCHADELIJK" is also visible on the casing, confirming its inert and harmless status. The projectile's tip is finished in silver-coloured metal. The artillery shell is in good vintage condition, exhibiting a natural patina on the brass and some minor scuffs and marks on the yellow paintwork consistent with its age and former life.
