This commemorative framed display features a collection of one-fifth scale miniature replicas of golf clubs, representing those used by the legendary Scottish golfer, William Park Senior of Musselburgh (1834-1903). The display includes a 'Driver', 'Long Spoon', 'Niblick', 'Putter', 'Cleek', and 'Rut Iron', each meticulously crafted to resemble the originals. A central oval portrait of William Park Senior is included, flanked by descriptive text highlighting his achievements as a 'Champion Golfer and Master Craftsman' and a 'Winner of the Open Championship 1860, 1863, 1866 and 1875'. The background is a green fabric matting, encased in a traditional brown wooden frame. The frame and clubs exhibit a pleasing vintage patina consistent with age, showing minimal wear. This unique piece of sporting history would make an exceptional addition to a collector's display, a golf-themed room, or a sophisticated home office.
