Vintage Dinky Toys Triumph TR2 Sports Car with Original Box

This vintage Dinky Toys Triumph TR2 Sports model car, number 111, is a charming example of classic British die-cast toy manufacturing. The miniature open-top racing car is finished in a distinctive salmon pink body colour with contrasting bright blue wheels and black tyres. A moulded white driver figure is seated behind the steering wheel, and the car features the racing number '29' within a white circle on its side doors. The model retains its original vibrant yellow cardboard box, which displays colourful graphics of the Triumph TR2 Sports car, indicating its brand and model. The box is in good condition, showing some expected wear for its age, including minor creasing and edge rubbing, but remains largely intact with all flaps present. The car itself exhibits minimal playwear, maintaining its original paint finish and detailing. This collectible piece captures the essence of 1950s motoring and toy design. It would make a delightful display item for a collector of vintage toys or automobilia, adding a touch of nostalgic charm to a shelf, desk, or display cabinet.
