Vintage Dinky Toys Esso Service Station Set with Box

This charming vintage Dinky Toys Esso Service Station set, complete with its original yellow cardboard box, presents a nostalgic miniature of a mid-20th century petrol station. The set features a sturdy grey metal base, upon which stand two classic petrol pumps – one in red with white accents and the other in blue with white accents, both bearing the iconic 'Esso' logo. A distinctive Esso sign, mounted on a red and white striped pole, stands tall, featuring a clear 'Esso' emblem at its circular top. The pumps are fitted with small white plastic hoses, adding to the realistic detail. The vibrant yellow box showcases detailed illustrations of the service station, with 'DINKY TOYS' clearly printed, and text in French indicating 'POSTE DE RAVITAILLEMENT'. This collectible piece remains in excellent condition for its age, with minimal signs of wear to the paintwork and the box retaining its structural integrity and bright colours. It's an ideal display item for collectors of vintage toys, automobilia, or petroliana.
