Vintage Copper Box with Square Opening

This is a copper box with a square opening at the top, mounted on four small feet. The copper has a weathered patina with verdigris showing through in places. There are a few marks and dents consistent with age and use. This would be a great storage box or could be repurposed in several ways. The aged patina adds to the character of this great vintage piece.
