This is a vintage Chadburns of Liverpool Telegraph. It is made of solid brass. The telegraph has a circular dial with a pointer and glass window indicators with text such as 'Stand By', 'Steady-Ready', 'Off Load', 'Shut Down', and 'Raise'. It is a very unique design. The relay box is marked with the number 7. There are two handles on the top and a plaque at the bottom. It has a trumpet shaped base.
The item has a wonderful patina from age and use. It would make a lovely decorative piece for a home or office.
