Victorian/Gothic Lampshade With Guipure Lace Rose Pattern

This is a handmade, one-of-a-kind Gothic-style lampshade. The luxurious and dramatic piece is designed for those who appreciate intricate, moody decor. It has been carefully constructed with high-quality materials. The lampshade has a silk base covered with hand-dyed deep red silk with black silk chiffon panels creating a soft contrast.

Black velvet guipure lace with a rose pattern adorns the side panels while black guipure floral lace is featured on the front panels.

Hand-strung beadwork and handmade tassel caps embellish the front. Two layers of fringe are added: rich black at the front, and faded black at the back for depth and texture.
