This novelty pencil pot or desk tidy is produced by Shudehill Giftware and features a cast figure of a traditional golliwog character seated next to a small brown teddy bear. The cylindrical pot itself is decorated with a blue fabric-effect patchwork pattern, accented with small pink floral buttons and rope-twist borders.
The base retains the original oval blue and gold foil manufacturer's label reading 'SHUDEHILL Giftware' alongside a 'MADE IN CHINA' sticker. Showing only minor surface wear, this collectable piece makes an unusual addition to a study, home office, or retro display shelf.
