This is a framed advertising for the Northern Assurance Company Limited. The advert is for 'Agency of the Northern Assurance Company Limited' with the company crest in the centre stating est. 1836. It says that the head offices are in London and Aberdeen with branches and agencies everywhere at home and abroad. At the bottom it reads "All kinds of insurance transacted". The frame is dark wood. The print and frame both show some signs of wear consistent with age. This adds to its vintage charm.
