Large Hand Carved Wooden Dragon Boat Sculpture on Stand

This substantial hand carved wooden sculpture represents a traditional dragon boat, intricately detailed with a fearsome dragon head prow and a series of carved seated figures, including oarsmen holding paddles. The entire vessel is decorated with deeply carved geometric and scrollwork patterns highlighted in a lighter wood tone against the dark-stained finish.

The sculpture is designed to rest securely upon a matching low wooden stand, which features corresponding carved borders and robust square legs. This set shows excellent decorative presence and is ideal for display on a large sideboard, deep mantlepiece, or as a focal point in a library or study. Please note minor surface dust and natural splitting to the timber consistent with age and material.
