An interesting pair of Dutch carved armchairs, late 1700s or early 1800s. Made from Oak and carved with male and felamale characters in traditional dress of the period. Most probably originally upholstered in leather, put has been unsympathetically recovered some time ago. The chairs and sturdy and in good condition for their age. Recoverng them would bring new life to them.
