A classic Thonet-inspired design, this elegant bentwood chair was made in Krakow, Poland during the 1930s and 1940's, until the factory was destroyed mid-WWII.
The company strapline, "solid-sturdy-strong-streamlined" can still be applied to these chairs - their desirability proove that they have comfortably passed the test of time and remain a truly stunning and functional chair for office, home, or committee room.
These chairs were sourced from a church committee room, and as such they have never been abused; each one retains a wonderful natural patina, and integrity is good throughout.
