The Bird Dish was originally created by John Clappison, chief designer at Hornsea, in the 1960s.

Magpie has reimagined this stylized bird design, redrawing the original illustration archived in the Hornsea Museum and crafting new ceramic molds in two sizes. Glazed in authentic Hornsea colors from the period, this piece reflects the timeless charm of mid-century design.

Made from hand-glazed stoneware featuring hand-applied decals, ensuring each piece is unique.
