George ‘BEST’ Limited Edition Print by Jossie Pops

George Best is regarded as one of NIs Greatest Legends. When you think of NI he is undoubtedly one of the first people that springs to mind. This can be seen by the fact our Airport is suitably named after George as ‘Best City Airport’. The piece itself had a couple of modifications from the reference. I wanted the background black and I wanted his face slightly brighter. From previous work I know this really sets the piece off. The shirt I tried to recreate the material by using a similar material to dab on a pattern. There is a lot of freestyle in there and artistic license, but I am happy with the outcome.
