“This is a composite I creating after watching Singing In The Rain, the classic Hollywood musical. This painting is in a way a contemporary interpretation of that film’s aesthetics. When I asked the model to pose in this trademark dance pose, it actually started to rain, so I’ve integrated the wet pavement into the composition.”
