Very collectable Sputnik Weather Station Barometer by BGM Huger West Germany MCM.
This stylish scientific instrument contains a thermometer, hygrometer and barometer inside a clear plexiglass globe that rotates freely on its brass metal base. It’s styled after the Sputnik satellite, with metal probe-like rods sticking out of its sides, brass metal accents, and a tilted brass metal radar dish on top. The bottom of the brass base is marked “B.G.M. 1765968”. It lifts off its base for cleaning though the fit is tight so I have not forced it on. The base has a wall mount for hanging onto a wall if desired.
