A glazed ceramic ashtray with recurring “Guinness is good for you” slogan around the circumference. The inside features, “A famous drawing by ‘Phiz’ of Sam Weller composing his valentine, showing a contemporary notice of Guinness”. Bears brown lettering to base which reads, “Identification No. GA/A/58A Issued by Arthur Guinness, Son & Co. Ltd. Designed and made in England by Ashtead Potters Ltd.”.
