Made about 1845 by CLOWES & WOODWARD, Dame Street, Dublin; this is military/naval sword is a really nice piece.
The handle is made with shark skin for a secure grip, the brasswork is complete and in good condition, and the detailing on the blade is clearly visible.
The brass scabbard is complete, with no obvious damage; the leather pad is intact on the hilt of the blade to prevent damage.
