This is a vintage metal trunk, likely dating to the early to mid-20th century. It is constructed of black painted metal with brass or gold coloured detailing. The front of the trunk features a decorative 'GVI R' monogram and crown emblem. It has a hinged lid and metal carry handles on either side. The trunk shows considerable wear and age, with rust and paint chipping throughout, but this adds to its vintage charm. Inside there is a small stack of old medical sheets. This trunk could be used for storage or as a decorative piece.
