This is a Victorian gipsy bobbin table with three legs turned in a bobbin style. There is a decorative carved top which includes the phrase, "IT IS NOT ALWAYS MAY" which refers to the poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
The stool is 40 cm across at widest point (base of legs) and the seat is 29cm wide. The height of the stool is 49cm.
