This is a hand-woven market basket produced in the traditional Ghanaian Bolga basket style. Featuring vibrant tribal patterns in green, pink, and purple, this basket is perfect for market trips or picnics, but can also be put to use all over the home – as a laundry basket, toy basket, vegetable basket, or blanket basket. This unique bolga basket is made from robust veta vera grass – an indigenous raw material that’s sustainably sourced and perfect for producing durable baskets. The grass is hand-rolled before being woven by a skilled member of our partner weaving cooperative in Northern Ghana. It has a black leather handle. It has an overall good condition and can be displayed anywhere in the home.
