This is an antique metal plaque from a Masonic Lodge room, dated 11th June 1904. The plaque is made of metal and has a shield-like shape. The inscription reads: "THE FITTINGS AND FURNISHINGS OF THE LODGE ROOMS WERE DESIGNED AND CARRIED OUT UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF Bro. David H. Johnston, P.P.S.G.D. DOWN. WHO ALSO PRESENTED THE LESSER LIGHTS AND WORKING TOOLS 11th June 1904".
The plaque shows some signs of wear and patina consistent with its age. This adds to its antique character and history. It would be best displayed in a home office, library or man cave as a unique decorative piece or as a conversation starter.
