Original antique mahogany Victorian Wellington chest in good condition & dating from around the 1880's period. It has six drawers that are graduated in depth & have turned mahogany handles. There is a locking bar on the right hand side, which has a key.. This chest also has original carved corbels on the top & sits on a plinth base. These Wellington chests are becoming increasingly popular, mainly because of their useful size & storage capacity, but also because they just look great. This chest would have a lot of uses, in the bedroom, in the study, in the library or living room. It is a highly functional item
