Johnny Hamilton, better known as Jossiepops, is a Belfast-based street artist who’s taken Northern Ireland’s art scene by storm. This self-proclaimed “Paid Doodler & Wall Dog” combines nostalgia-fueled imagery with raw street art energy, creating bold prints and murals that stop people in their tracks.
What started as a return to art during the global pandemic – what Johnny calls his ‘Apprenticeship’ phase – has evolved into a thriving artistic practice that spans everything from large-scale street murals to intimate ink portraits. Based at his studio in 8b Thornleigh Gardens, Bangor, Jossiepops has become synonymous with vibrant, cult-inspired artwork that mashes up movie legends, music icons, and pure 80s graffiti attitude.
