This is a vintage spherical box with a stand. It is composed of two halves that fit together to form a complete sphere. The top half is a bright orange, while the base and stand are a darker red-orange. The inside of the base is black. This unique decorative item shows wear consistent with its age and use. It has some light scratches and scuffs on the surface, which add to its vintage character. It would work well as a trinket box for storing jewellery or other small items, or simply as a decorative item.
