This is a vintage B.D.H. (British Drug Houses Ltd.) amber glass jar. The original label on the front reads "Hydrargyri Perchlorid. Pulv. B.D.H. 1770/16 GRAIN POISON". The jar has a metal screw-top lid. It shows signs of wear commensurate with age, including some discolouration to the label and some rusting to the lid. A piece of medical history, this decorative glass jar would be great in any collection.
